C - Christ's example is my focus and target

As a faithfulcity, your ultimate role model is Christ. Think about his life, how he did not consider it something to hold onto, as equal with God. Scripture says 'and the good pleasure of the Lord prospered in His hands'.
The words of Jesus are in a class of its own. He spoke as one with authority and the same authority He gave every believer when he was about to depart the earth.

If Christ is your example, it is means you are following after his footsteps. Here are some amazing things about Jesus whom you are following:

- Jesus raised dead people back to life.

- He healed the sick everywhere.

- He said he would die and rise from the dead. He did!

- He walked on waters and made one of his followers do same.

- He fed multitudes with a single lunchbox.

- He spoke to the wind and it obeyed him.

- He loved sinners and came chiefly to reconcile sinners back to God.

- He prayed for you while he was on his earthly ministry. John 17:20

When Jesus was about to leave the earth, he declared that ‘all his followers will do even greater works than He did’.
So I want you to backtrack a little and read the amazing things that he did again. Did you catch it now?

Don’t think of anything less if Christ is your focus, target and role model. If you are not ready to be his follower then it is understandable you won’t need to walk on waters as a faithfulcity.
It is the least thing you can do as a proof of your followership. Let the world see Jesus in your eyes!
You are the only ‘Jesus’ the world can see today.

B - Believes in the Father's will

This believe here is not just mental accent, it is an active believe. It is 'putting your money where your mouth is'.

‘We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak.’ (II Cor.4:13)

I have often heard about people fighting over the will of a family member. Sure you have a few examples too. The only reason why they have serious argument over the will is because they believe in the will of the dead person. They believe the ‘will’ holds the key to their ‘cheese’ or ‘success’. They have the assurance that if the ‘will’ is favourable to them, then it would translate into good for them. Often times people result into fights, litigations in court just to enforce their right to a earthly will. This is what people do for a ‘will’ that is limited in its offer and scope.

Our heavenly father has a far better will and by every standard incomparable with any other. The question for you therefore is why you don’t believe in it. If you don’t believe, it’s either you don’t know about such a will or you don’t think God has the ability to make His will come to pass.

In the former it should be clear to you now that God has a will for your life and it is a complete package (Jer 29:11). Don’t try to accept only the part you like, leaving out other aspects of His will.

In the latter, I would say that isn’t it strange that you can believe in the will of a dead person and not in God who lives forever. Who is more powerful between a dead man and a living God.
If you say you are a child of God, then it beholds you to believe in your Father’s will. Your success and accomplishment of destiny is tied to this. Remember also that the bible contains the Father’s will and is available to you always.

A - Accepted the Father's will as a way of living and dying.

A will is a set plan and program that a person puts forward and expects that events and people conform to it.

In the same way we have will for our lives, God also has a will for our lives. Your will may not be wrong but God's will should take precedent over every other. The bible contains God's will for your life.

You have to understand that you are the answer to God’s will. You didn’t chose to be born rather it was God’s decision. Does it even occur to you that He intended you for something at the point he envisioned you. The limitation in your personal will is that it is always less than you.

To illustrate this better, you were not able to give yourself a name at birth. Culturally names are quite unique in every clime and people usually want to communicate a message, hope or prayer through names. The name you currently answer to was given to you by those who thought they have the right to give you such. People like your father, mother, grandparents, relatives and the likes. They gave names according to their expectation and hope for you. By giving you names, it means that they in a way transferring a will to you. You cannot do anything about the name at that time because it is their will.

This is the same way your Heavenly father gave you a name and will to live for. The difference is that He has the perfect, flawless name and will for you. Your earthly kits and kin may miss the mark in giving a direction for your life but God cannot. It is not consistent with His word. And remember that He honors His word more than His name. He watches over His words to perform it.

Accepting His will as a way of living and dying is the only way to reach the height He designed when He first created you.

Five People that cannot easily see the Greatness of your Calling

Number 1: YOU

You are the number one person that cannot easily see your calling. Always remember that God has not called the qualified, He qualifies the called. You are 'the called according to His purpose'
Don't say you are a child like Jeremiah said or make light of this words, you have been called already. Now is time to stand for the Kingdom you swore allegiance to.
At ceoGospel Intl, we believe in the greatness of your calling and why not!
Always remember you are His Instrument to the world.

Number 2: Biological Fathers

Don't be surprised at your father if he doesn't believe in your calling. Joseph's father, Jacob didn't believe in his calling and kept wondering at Joseph's dreams.
Sometimes you find yourself alone in the choices you make for God, it’s a sign of your calling. Don't be discouraged.
I challenge you today to look to God for inspiration. God is the best father you can ever have!
Always remember you are the very answer to God's will.

Number 3: Siblings

Your siblings are brothers and sisters from the same biological parents. In a family where there is history of preferential treatments, you will observe that competition is rife among siblings.
Jesus' siblings didn't believe in him until after his death and resurrection. They had grown so familiar and wouldn't accept that he could be the messiah. They had seen him used the toilet, slept, washed, bath et cetera.
Now your calling is after Jesus' pattern. He fulfilled purpose, you will also do same. Don’t let rejections by siblings affect your work for God. You belong to the beloved family of God with many beloved brothers and sisters. You are not alone. Be strong faithful city! For great is your reward.

Number four: Childhood Friends.

Your childhood friends are sometimes threat to fulfilling your calling. You are usually torn between their acceptance and stigma of rejection. Friends are important to the course we follow in life.
Take a look at Rehoboam, son of Solomon, his friends chose a calling different from what God wanted for him. For fear of rejection he followed his friends, paying the price of not fulfilling his calling. His friends grew up with him and probably didn't see anything special about him; hence they couldn't give him the right counsel. They couldn't help him see his calling as a king.
I pray God give you wisdom to know who matters in your destiny. Your calling is sure and you will not be found wanting. Amen.

Number five: Non-allos (heteros)

I want to quickly define for you some terms here. Allos is the greek interpreted as 'another of the same kind'. So a non-allos is 'another of a differrent kind'. The actual greek word is 'heteros' meaning 'another of a different kind'.
This is the last category of people who cannot easily see your calling. It is simple - they are of a different kind, in other words they have not understood their own calling let alone walk in it.
It is just like the Pharisees whom Jesus described as the 'blind trying to lead the blind'.
Don't expect someone who has not an idea of her calling to understand you when you talk. They cannot even help you. Have the least expectation from them. When you hear someone opposing you publicly, quickly recognize that he is not an allos but rather a heteros. Avoid such to make full proof of your calling.
I cap up by saying - you so dear to God and He has sent you on a specific assignment. Make heaven happy by staying with your calling. Inside your calling is everything you can ever desire. Don't pursue everything at the expense of your calling.

A faithful city – that is who you are!!!
